If the world to hold, then the world to keep
Bow before renovation, reality starts to seep
It's all been done before
The hidden text and ancient lore
They point and scream and pull at us
To keep it up and do what we must
Yet we dart away and avoid the truth
Pour salt on the wounds instead of sooth
Telling the truth is an uphill battle
When it shakes all we know and makes it rattle
To stand before them all and let it pour
Knowing full well that may point you out the door
So we grit and we bear
We hold our hearts too close with fear and care
Suffocate our god like souls
Tell ourselves we're on a roll
But progress is cheap when y
It's in the flash in your eyes before dawn
Or the breath you take after dusk
The thrash of your heart when it breaks
And the tremor on your flesh amidst ecstasy
It fills the transient of the seasons
And brings birth to a new born infant
Challenges the fallen to vision once more
Even turns the lifeless back into existence
It floats in the tears dwelling behind your eyes
Dances on the tides of the nomadic breeze
Never is it to be confined in a jar
For our hearts see it as only but a moment
But those moments live on for eternity
Tremors of ecstasy ripple across skin of golden sunflowers
While nails dig into sheets like roots to earth
The taste of sweat, sweeter then any honeysuckle or ferbben berry
Comes up from your body like dew in the early morning
They told me it was beautiful, to feel the tremble of a woman beside me
But they failed to mention how it would touch me so far in
Into the deepest caverns of my forsaken soul
Ignite it with wildfire again and bring daisy's up from rocks
You always loved to go watch the daisies wake up in the morning
Slowly with care we move over each other, as the waves do with the sand
That hourglass has broken again, time s
Break the silence with the sound of inspirations
Turn four walls into an endless jungle of satisfaction
I don't mind these moments here alone
But moments turn to minutes that breed into hours
Before long I've greeted the sun and the moon
Tucked the stars into bed and cooked breakfast for the flowers
It gets somewhat irritating, looking at the same pictures on the same walls
Focusing on the pattern of your own breath for something to do
I wander around these rooms, aimlessly looking for something
Something that I misplaced or something I forgot
Something that has the uncanny resemblance to company
Other creatures of being which stay
They said I would hear it
Hear it, hear it
Inside the moan and groan of a lover true
Under the lining, behind the eruption
There it would be, hidden but not unseen
The perfect explanation on why I still existed
The resolution to my own age-old question
The conclusion to my twisted chapter book of misery
Her.
Her.
The word flows from lips kept open
Held by a permanent hold, pause
Rewind and repeat again for assurance
Her. She. Woman. Lady. Girl. Female. Her.
Dissect them apart or glue them together
It's still underneath
There, held in place by her breath
Her.
The keeper of logic and purpose
A battery charged candle in the da
Worlds collide as fire sparks up from nothingness
I draw deeper inside to try and hold myself together, something
Some small part of me, trying desperately to keep it alive
While you cast your gaze upon my imperfect form and scorn at me
Scorn at me for being everything you never wanted, everything you couldn't stand to see
I was labeled unwanted before I even drew my first breath
Before you committed the darkest of sin upon my unexpected body
I needed you so purely and completely then, I needed you so that I could survive
But even then when I was nothing but a face without expression
You attacked my world and broke it down to ash and
It changes everything, at least, everything that you once knew
That you thought you knew, concepts and ideas burn and turn into ash
The wind catches images and memories you once loved
Torn from you and tossed into the air, to fly away, away to someone else
Someone who is more like what you use to be, more like what you want to be again
It strips you of everything, everything that explains who you once were
And destroys it, it leave you naked and bare
Unable to successfully hold onto those things ever again
You try and you try to go through all the motions, hoping you'll get the results
But in the end that's all you're doing, going th

You're the reason for my everything
You're the "why" I can't explain
You're the dream I'll never leave behind.
You're the name-sake of my butterfly
You're the hope I can't let die
You're the girl that won't get off my mind.
You're the love-poem I could never write
You're the thought that keeps me up at night
You're the smile that doesn't want to fade away.
You're the face that lives in fantasy
You're the dream I almost see
You're those whispered words I'll never dare to say.
... I love you.
The smell of leather, gliding over your skin,
My lips moving, not sure where to begin.
So much pleasure, and so much pain,
Watching your blood fall, I make it rain.
It splatters on the floor,
It runs to the drain.
I'm cleansing your body,
With its filthy stain.
The bonds tighten as you scream out,
I'm laughing so hard, watching you doubt
Your morals, your fears,
As I bring that edge near.
Did I take it too far?
If so, that's too bad.
You believed the illusion
Of control you never had.
I like real problems, the human condition - twisted, darker stuff.
